On April 9, 2012 I said goodbye to my Grandma Frew. She had not been doing too well for a couple weeks. I think she finally decided that she was ready to leave this life and have a happy reunion with Grandpa and so many other loved ones on the other side. She finally had a small stroke that she just never came back from. She died peacefully surrounded by family. I got to be there when she finally slipped away. She kept telling us not to cry because it was a happy day. She also kept telling us all she would see us in the spring...she didn't know which spring but it would be in the spring. I can't even begin to express my love for Grandma. I was honored to be able to help care for her as she got older and am so grateful for the short time I was able to live with her and help her. I am so happy that she is with Grandpa again and her mom. I miss her every day! I love you forever Grandma and can't wait to see you again on that happy spring day.
My handsome brothers
My Dad. It was hard to watch him have to say goodbye to his Mommy. I love him tons!
Cute boys looking at the graves in the cemetery
The whole fam. Too bad it takes this to get us all together but we had to take a picture. Look at all those dang kids.
Yep this is why I am the favorite aunt...sharing my dr. pepper. It went well with entering the luncheon with him singing at the top of his lungs to realize they were in the middle of the prayer...oops. This boy has such a personality. I love it!
Sammers didn't want me to see his face. But you get to see the great picture of Grandma and Grandpa...its one of my favorites.
